Error Codes & Alerts

Look up robot vacuum error codes, voice prompts, app alerts, and dock indicators by brand and model. Start with the exact alert and use only checks documented for your robot and station.

Browse all guides

A number or red light does not have one meaning across every robot vacuum. The same number can describe different problems on different brands, or even on one brand when the robot is charging versus cleaning. Match the exact wording and model before following a fix.

Start with the alert you can see

  • Copy the complete message, code, voice prompt, or light pattern. Note whether it came from the robot, dock, app, or both.
  • Record the brand, exact model or SKU, dock or station model, country, and app or firmware version if shown.
  • Find the matching manufacturer manual or support page for that exact model. A search result, another model’s manual, or a marketplace listing cannot confirm what a code means for your robot.
  • Try only the first check the manufacturer documents. Stop if a battery is hot or swollen, there is liquid damage, a cord or contact is damaged, or the next step would require opening a battery, dock, or sealed electronics.

An alert can point to a blocked part, a placement or network condition, or a service-only fault. Cleaning a component does not prove it has failed, and a persistent code alone is not a reason to buy a replacement part.
