Dreame’s guidance for an LDS that cannot raise or lower is specific to the X50 Ultra. The steps check the test conditions, app setting, and visible obstruction before escalating. They do not establish that the sensor motor has failed.

Check the X50 Ultra setup

  1. Update the robot to the latest firmware offered for it.
  2. Test in an open area without obstacles that could affect the radar’s movement.
  3. In the app, check whether the radar-lifting setting is enabled. Dreame also suggests trying the app’s remote-control function.
  4. Inspect the radar surface and top cover for lifted stickers or debris that could interfere with movement.
  5. Restart the robot and check whether the LDS now raises and lowers normally.

Use the X50 Ultra’s instructions when checking or cleaning an exposed area. Do not force the sensor or remove the cover. If the lift still does not work, Dreame directs owners to customer service.

Keep the model boundary

The support page names the X50 Ultra; it does not establish that the same radar-lift setting, control, or procedure applies to other Dreame models. For Wi-Fi setup alerts, use the separate Dreame Wi-Fi error guide. For another robot or a different alert, confirm its model-specific manual before acting.
