Identify the model before using a SpinWave alert table. Model 2859 is the SpinWave Wet/Dry Robotic Vacuum. Model 3377 is the SpinWave R5. Similar wheel, brush, or sensor messages can use different indicators and actions on these two robots.

SpinWave model 2859

BISSELL’s model 2859 page pairs the light pattern and beep count with a possible condition and a response. Examples include:

Signal or alert Listed first check
Red flashing with one beep: robot lifted or sensor alert Turn the robot off; clean the machine and wet-tank sensor contacts, wipe the dry-tank exterior, clean the cliff sensors, and return the robot to the floor.
Red then solid red with one beep: wheel stuck Turn it off, press the wheels down, and rotate them to clear debris underneath.
Flashing white with two beeps: bumper stuck or trapped Turn it off, clear bumper debris, and compress the bumper several times.
Alternating red and white with two beeps: trapped on carpet in mop mode Turn it off and move it to a bare floor.
Red then solid red with three beeps: brush roll stuck Turn it off and clear debris from the brush and chamber.
Flashing white with three beeps: wet-pad motor alert Clean the listed tank and machine contact areas, then retry.

For 2859, BISSELL says to press Start/Pause to clear an error and press again to resume. Its page includes additional water, battery, and sensor alerts; use the full light-and-beep combination rather than a beep count by itself.

SpinWave R5 model 3377

The R5 guide may use a voice or app diagnosis. If there is no voice, BISSELL directs owners to the diagnosis notification in the app. Its listed alerts include:

  • Bumper Stuck E1: turn the robot off, tap the bumper, and remove debris.
  • Wheel stuck: press the wheels down, rotate by hand, and clear wrapped material.
  • Cliff sensor dirty: wipe the sensor and move the robot.
  • Battery error: the guide says to wait 15 minutes for a temperature-related alert; its stated operating range is 0–40°C.
  • Charge contact error: follow the R5 page’s separate robot and station contact-cleaning instructions.
  • Low water or mop-pad alerts: check the tank or align the pad using the R5 procedure.

These are examples from the 3377 support table, not the 2859 chart. Follow the exact row and linked instructions for any other R5 prompt. A repeated alert or a damaged part should go to BISSELL support; neither table diagnoses a failed motor or confirms a replacement part.

For a different robot, start with the alert identification workflow.
