eufy says Error 2 or Error S2 on the RoboVac X8 series is triggered when a wheel is stuck or trapped. The guidance covers X8 and X8 Hybrid; do not apply the same code meaning to another eufy family.

Check location and wheel movement

  1. If the alert occurs at one location, use the eufy Clean app’s no-go zone feature to keep the robot out of that area.
  2. Check the app for a firmware update and follow eufy’s instructions for the exact robot.
  3. Clean both wheels and compare their movement. eufy says the wheels should flex and spring back.
  4. Identify the affected side. On the X8, the right wheel is beside the side brush.

If the wheel remains stuck or the alert returns, use eufy’s X8 support instructions or contact eufy. The support article links a model-specific wheel-replacement video, but replacing a wheel is not the same as proving that the wheel module has failed.

Do not assume wheel parts interchange

eufy says the right and left wheel assemblies are not interchangeable. It also lists different left-wheel order paths for X8 and X8 Hybrid. Verify the exact robot and side against eufy’s current parts information before ordering; this alert page does not establish regional availability or fitment for every X8 variant.
