TP-Link’s US FAQ lists eight voice prompts for selected Tapo LiDAR-navigation robot vacuums. It names RV50 Omni, RV20 Max White, RV30, RV50 Pro Omni, RV30 Max, RV30 Max Plus White, RV20 Plus, RV20 Max Plus, RV20 Max Plus White, RV20 Mop Plus, RV30 Max White, RV30 Max Plus, RV20 Max, and RV30 Plus. Availability varies by region and hardware version; check the exact model’s current support page.

Prompt TP-Link’s stated first check
Error 1: Battery Error Wait until the battery is within the stated 0–40°C (32–104°F) range.
Error 2: Wheel Module Error Check for foreign objects in the wheels, then restart.
Error 3: Side Brush Error Check the side brush for foreign objects, then restart.
Error 4: Suction Fan Error Check the fan port; clean the dust box and filter, then restart.
Error 5: Main Brush Error Remove and clean the main brush, connection, cover, and suction port, then restart.
Error 6: Water Pump Error Clean the tank and pump connections, check the bottom water outlet and mop module, then restart.
Error 7: LiDAR Error Check the laser sensor for foreign objects, clean it, and restart.
Error 8: Abnormal operation Check that the main power switch is on.

These are the eight rows on the cited FAQ, not a complete alert dictionary for every Tapo robot or hardware version. Use the whole spoken prompt and your model details. If an alert persists, TP-Link directs owners to its support route. Do not infer a failed fan, brush, pump, or sensor from the prompt alone.

Before handling brushes or the underside, switch the robot off as its model instructions specify. For a different alert family, start with the alert identification workflow.
