Use this guide only for robot RRE0VES and the EWFD55LRR or EWFD56LRR docks named in its FCC manual. The manual lists 120 V, 60 Hz for EWFD55LRR; it does not establish regional or electrical instructions for other dock variants. Before any cleaning or maintenance, switch off the product and unplug it. Do not rinse the robot or dock or use disinfectant or corrosive cleaning fluids.

Clean the robot filter and dustbin

The manual lists main-brush cleaning every two weeks with 6–12 month replacement examples, side-brush cleaning monthly with 3–6 month replacement examples, and filter cleaning every two weeks with 6–12 month replacement examples. The mop cloth is cleaned as needed and has a 3–6 month replacement example. Actual wear and use can change the schedule.

  1. Open the dustbin and remove the washable filter.
  2. Rinse the filter repeatedly and tap it to dislodge dirt. Do not touch its surface with your hands, a brush, or a sharp object.
  3. Rinse the dustbin with clean water only; do not add cleaning liquid.
  4. Let both the bin and filter dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling them.

Clean the main brush, side brush, wheels, and sensors using the manual’s exact steps. Wipe the robot and dock charging contacts with a soft dry cloth. Stop if a brush, wheel, sensor, or contact is damaged or will not move or seat as shown.

Clean the named RockDock parts

  • Dirty-water tank: Empty it, fill it with clean cold water, close and lock the lid, shake it, empty it again, and reinstall it. Cold water is specified to avoid deforming the tank.
  • Water filter and sink: Release and rinse the water filter, then wipe the cleaning sink with a soft dry cloth. Reinstall the filter until it locks.
  • Maintenance brush: Remove it, clear entangled objects, rinse it, then reinstall and latch it.
  • Dust bag: Remove it using the sealing handle. Fit the replacement fully and evenly before closing the cover.

Keep away from the dock’s clean-water dispensers and drying outlets while they operate. If reduced emptying continues after checking the bag and parts named in the manual, contact Roborock instead of opening the dock.

Battery boundary

The battery-removal steps in this manual are for disposal of the robot, not routine battery replacement. Use the exact manufacturer service route for battery work. See battery replacement and safe disposal.
