ECOVACS publishes two different tray procedures under T80 OMNI support: one for the station mop-washing tray and one for the robot’s water tray. The support pages do not identify exact retail model numbers or a regional crosswalk, and they do not state a cleaning interval or detergent. Confirm your unit and use the current station tray page and robot tray page, including their diagrams.

Station mop-washing tray

  1. Remove the mop-washing tray from the station.
  2. Wash it with water. The page does not specify detergent.
  3. Dry it thoroughly to remove water stains before reinstalling.
  4. Reinstall the tray and confirm that the overflow float, also called the water-level sensor, is secured.

The support page gives no timing rule. Clean it when the exact manual or visible soil calls for care; do not invent a fixed interval based on another dock.

Robot water tray

  1. Double-press AUTO to extend the roller-mop assembly.
  2. Lift one side of that assembly slightly, then slide the blue latch upward to release the tray.
  3. Remove the tray filter and clean both filter and tray thoroughly.
  4. Return the filter to the tray and click the tray back into the robot.
  5. Double-press AUTO to retract the rollers.

If the robot must be flipped, remove its dirty-water box first to prevent leaks. The FAQ does not specify a cleaning liquid or power-isolation step, and it does not authorize access beyond the removable tray and filter. Follow any additional safety steps in the current manual. Stop if the latch or tray resists.

The two T80 procedures are separate from the X11 OmniCyclone’s tray design. For other systems, see general dock care or brush and sensor cleaning.
