The Roomba Plus 615 and Plus 675 share a brush-cleaning task but not the same brush-cover reassembly sequence. Confirm the model name on the robot before opening the cover.

  1. Stop the robot using its normal control and place it on a stable surface. Pinch the brush-cover release buttons and lift the cover.
  2. Remove the main brush and detach its end cap.
  3. Remove tangled hair and debris from the brush and end cap. Inspect between the cutter teeth for foreign objects and clear them promptly.
  4. Reinstall the end cap and brush in its original position.
  5. Refit the cover using the sequence below.
Model Brush-cover reassembly
Roomba Plus 615 Press down at all four corners of the brush cover until they seat.
Roomba Plus 675 Seat the four front latches first, then press the rear of the cover into place.

The latch sequence is model-specific. Check the current iRobot instructions and the cover on your robot before running it; a click indicates that the cover is seated. iRobot gives a 6–12 month main-brush replacement example for these two models; inspect condition and use its current guidance rather than replacing solely by the calendar. If the cover will not latch without force, or the brush is damaged or noisy, stop and contact iRobot support. Do not lubricate the brush or attempt motor repair.

This guide covers the Plus 615 and Plus 675 steps stated by iRobot. It does not establish the same procedure for every Plus 600 model. For other brush and wheel procedures, see clean brushes, wheels, sensors, and contacts and Roomba care intervals by series.
