Dyson’s robot manuals give different filter and bin rules. This guide keeps the US English instructions for Spot+Scrub Ai, 360 Vis Nav, and 360 Eye separate. Use the exact model and manual edition; do not transfer a drying time or wash method between them.
Spot+Scrub Ai
Wash the robot and dock filters at least monthly with warm water until clear. Dry them fully for at least 24 hours in a warm, ventilated place. Do not use a tumble dryer, microwave, or naked flame. The brush bar is checked monthly; if washed, stand it upright to dry for at least 24 hours. The wet roller may be washed with detergent when needed, but must be completely dry before refitting; the guide gives no minimum drying time for it.
Wipe the robot dry bin and casing with a damp lint-free cloth, then ensure the bin and lid seals are dry before docking. Do not use a dishwasher, detergent, polish, or air freshener. The dock water filter is behind the dirty-water tank; the manual says turn it counterclockwise to remove and clockwise to install.
Dyson 360 Vis Nav
Wash the filter at least monthly with warm running water and no detergent. Let it dry completely before refitting; the manual does not give a minimum drying duration. Check the airway behind the bin, clear hair from the brush bar, and inspect wheels for debris with the robot upside down on a soft surface to protect the lens. Wipe the camera and sensors with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. The manual says this robot will not operate or charge below 41°F (5°C).
Dyson 360 Eye
Empty the clear bin before each use and when debris reaches its MAX mark. Both pre-motor and post-motor filters are washed monthly with cold water only, without detergent, and dried naturally for at least 24 hours. The clear bin may be washed in cold water, but keep water away from the cyclones; clean the cyclone shroud with a cloth or dry brush. Remove hair and debris from the brush bar and tracks on a soft surface. The manual notes that carbon-fibre bristles may irritate skin; wash hands after handling them.
